Montpellier Interactive has written custom modules for theatres and similar industries. These modules will interrogate databases for various ticketing and box office systems, integrate the data with mi|emailer and then allow you to build distribution lists based on previous show attendance.
The Everyman Theatre found that much closer targeting of its’ customers by advertising shows of a similar type has led to a greater read (and click through) rate, as the email recipients’ find the targeted mailings of more interest and relevance to them personally. By adopting this tactic, the unsubscribe rate has been kept remarkably low, and their mailing list size grew by 50% in six months as the emails were forwarded on to friends, bringing new subscribers.
As data on the customers is taken by both online and at box office bookings, the email addresses alongside the show information is saved to our database on a nightly basis to ensure that mi-emailer is always up-to-date. Though this runs seamlessly and silently in the background, our development team are immediately notified of any issues.
