background: Oxford Ski – a leading expert in luxury travel – operates solely online, and caters for high net worth individuals that desire high-end, executive travel arrangements. As a consequence, its website must be functionality rich, intuitive and engaging to the customer.
The maintenance and management of the website is orchestrated entirely in-house through a system that has been specifically designed for the company by Montpellier Interactive.
challenge: Oxford Ski approached the Montpellier Interactive team six years ago with a request for a website design that would not only showcase the company to its full potential, but would also include a back-end system that would enable prices to be uploaded as and when required. In addition, Oxford Ski requested that the entire site was developed so that it could be self managed without outside assistance.
solution: Montpellier Interactive provided a bespoke system that met the client brief and the need for self-sufficiency. Since that initial site was developed, however, we have continued to work with the client to create a website that has surpassed all expectation, featuring some of the most cutting-edge technology on the market today, including a complete content management system that allows:
• Content management for all their chalets (both client facing website and back office information)
• Real-time enquiry console; allowing access from anywhere to all enquiries, history and CRM
• Real-time pricing and availability
• Automatic creation of holiday portal section for their clients with all information about their stay included directly from the system yet all editable
• Integration with weather and snow feeds
• Access to all historical data from previous seasons
• Entirely web-based solution allowing access from their offices in Oxford or their offices on the ski slopes
